What stays on your device

These are saved in your browser's local storage and never sent to a server:

• Quiz answers and your Adaptive Fit Passport — including any accessibility needs you select and anything you type in the free-text boxes. This never leaves your device.
• Saved items (the products you heart) and your region, currency and accessibility settings.
• Anonymous interaction signals (which filters and cards you use) with a random, per-device id — used to improve recommendations. No names, emails or free text.

What is sent off your device

• Product suggestions. When you use the suggest an item form, the product details you enter — and your optional email — are securely submitted to us for manual review before anything is added to the catalogue. They are stored by our database provider Upstash (serverless Redis) and kept for up to 180 days, then automatically deleted. We also record a server timestamp and a one-way hash of your IP address used only to rate-limit spam and spot duplicates — never the raw IP, and we do not store your user agent. Only the site owner can read submissions; there is no public way to view them. You'll receive a reference you can quote to have your submission deleted sooner (see below).
• Approximate country. To default your shopping region, the app reads the country only that Vercel (our host) derives from your connection at the edge — no third-party IP-lookup service is used, and your IP is not sent anywhere new. We don't store your IP or precise location, the answer is cached on your device, and you can override it with the region picker.
• Currency rates are fetched from api.frankfurter.app (European Central Bank data). This request contains no personal data.
• Product images load from the official retailer and brand image hosts.
• Anonymous usage analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to count page views and measure performance. They do not use cookies to identify you and never receive your name, email, quiz answers or anything you type — we also strip query strings from analytics so quiz details can't leak through a URL. Like any web host, Vercel processes basic request metadata (such as IP address and user agent) to serve and secure the site.

What we do not do

• We do not have accounts, logins or passwords.
• We do not sell or share your data, or build advertising profiles.
• We do not store your quiz answers, Fit Passport, saved items or free-text needs on any server — those stay on your device. The only thing we receive is a product suggestion you deliberately submit.
• We do not send your accessibility selections or free-text needs to analytics, error monitoring, logs, URL parameters or any third party.

Deleting your data

On-device data (quiz answers, Fit Passport, saved items) is under your control: clearing your browser storage removes it instantly, or use this button to delete it now:

This does not change your currency or accessibility preferences.

Submitted product suggestions are held by us for up to 180 days and then deleted automatically. To have one removed sooner, email the reference shown when you submitted it to xisadaptive@gmail.com and we'll delete it.
